About Kelly Ortiz
My name is Kelly Ortiz, and I am a clinical audiologist excited to join the team here at Central Florida Speech and Hearing Center. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Central Florida in 2019. I then worked as an audiology assistant while continuing my education, ultimately earning my Doctor of Audiology degree from The University of Akron through the Northeast Ohio Audiology Consortium in May 2026. I completed my externship residency at the Temple, Texas VA Medical Center. I enjoy working with adult and geriatric populations and have a strong passion for diagnostics, tinnitus management, hearing aid fittings, custom hearing protection, and cochlear implants. Building meaningful relationships with my patients is especially important to me, as it allows me to provide more personalized and effective care. I am fluent in both English and Thai, which enables me to serve a broader and more diverse patient population. Having been born and raised in various parts of Florida, I am happy to be back serving my community. In my free time, I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants, painting, and spending time with my English bulldog Teddy.
