About Rebecca Kennedy

My name is Rebecca Kennedy and I am a Hearing Instrument Specialist. As a young, single mother, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in 2010. Due to the aggressive nature of the cancer, I endured a regimen of chemotherapy/radiation that helped save my life, but left me with a substantial hearing loss. As a hearing aid user, I know all too well the struggles that my patients go through on a daily basis. Whether it’s the challenges faced in restaurants and crowds, or the difficulty of hearing with friends and family, I have committed myself to assisting patients to the best of my abilities. To that point, not only am I licensed in the state of Florida, but I also achieved my Board Certification to further my education in the art and science of understanding hearing loss and programming hearing aids. My patients are given the tools, through counseling and education, to find best practices to be successful communicators and reach their potential with hearing aids.

My dedication to things I love has helped me not only in my work life, but also in my personal life. I had always had a desire to be physically fit and healthy, working out in the gym with some regularity. Over the years, I have become an avid bodybuilder, having competed in numerous competitions over the past 7 years. Through hard work and tireless dedication, I have placed in the top 3 in every show I have participated in! That competitive spirit is what drives me to be the best at whatever challenge I take on. Together, we will accomplish great things, always looking forward to improving quality of life through better hearing!
