Meet Dr. Shaila Perez, Au.D., FAAA
My name is Shaila Perez and I am a graduate from Wayne State University, where i earned my Doctorate of Audiology degree in May of 2015. Upon completing my residency at Michigan Ear Institute, I relocated to Lakeland, FL and joined The Barranco Clinic full-time, working in the medical field of audiology. A few years later, I joined Central Florida Speech and Hearing as a clinical audiologist in February of 2018. I was very happy to join the Center as the only Spanish speaking Audiologist as I am a native from Yauco, Puerto Rico.
I am well versed in all fields of Audiology; however my passion lies predominantly in clinical diagnostics, hearing aids and implantable devices including osseointegration devices (BAHA) and cochlear implants of all age groups. I am part of the local craniofacial team which meets at our Center.
I am very family oriented and enjoy going to the beach and spending time with family. I love all things related to my daughters!
